About the position

As a Lead Technical Program Manager within the Audit Technology and Corporate Technology teams at JPMorgan Chase, you will leverage your deep technical expertise and leadership to guide cutting-edge projects, fostering growth and innovation in a dynamic environment. This role is crucial in an agile team dedicated to developing, enhancing, and delivering top-tier technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your leadership skills will be instrumental in guiding innovative projects, promoting growth and innovation in a dynamic setting. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex technology products for the firm's Internal Audit function, utilizing your understanding of agile delivery, technology principles, and customer needs to effectively manage resources, budgets, and high-performing teams to deliver business value. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability skills will be key in navigating through ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives align with business objectives. Leveraging your advanced communication and stakeholder management skills, you will cultivate productive working relationships and influence decision-making while leading technology teams in agile methodologies. As a subject matter expert, your contributions will extend to the development of operational plans and risk management strategies, ensuring the highest level of quality and professionalism in product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the team.
  • Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization.
  • Project Management experience leading multiple projects within an Agile environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing data to identify team effectiveness trends and areas of improvement.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to explain their findings and present recommendations at different seniority levels with ease.
  • Experience resolving impediments strategically and tactically at scale effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients to drive results.
  • Exposure to modern engineering practices like Unit Test-Driven Development, Acceptance Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Integration.
  • Working knowledge with Agile and Scrum frameworks and its application in Product Development and delivery organization.
