About the position

The Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services at Walmart is responsible for leading a team of exterior service technicians to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of exterior service technicians to deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through effective management of exterior services.
• Perform landscaping tasks including cutting grass and weed management.
• Utilize technology for work order management and record-keeping.
• Facilitate on-the-job training for team members on processes and safety practices.
• Maintain knowledge of planting, pruning techniques, and pest/disease management.
• Manage commercial exterior maintenance tasks such as irrigation and pressure washing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial landscaping/exterior building maintenance.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to train team members.
• Proficiency in using technology for work order management.
• Willingness to perform various landscaping tasks with or without specialized equipment.
• Knowledge of planting, pruning techniques, and pest/disease management.
• Experience in commercial exterior maintenance including irrigation and pressure washing.
• Strong customer service orientation and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to upholding company policies and safety standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree in horticulture or related area.
• Certified nursery and/or landscape professional.
• Intermediate proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Experience as a landscaping/gardening crew leader or supervisor.
• Proficient in Spanish.
• State/local licensing where required.
