About the position

The Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services at Walmart is responsible for leading a team of exterior service technicians to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of exterior service technicians to deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with safety practices and company policies.
• Perform landscaping tasks including cutting grass and weed management.
• Manage work orders and record-keeping using technology.
• Train team members on processes and equipment usage.
• Maintain exterior spaces to provide a safe and clean environment for customers.
• Troubleshoot and prioritize work based on customer needs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial landscaping/exterior building maintenance.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to train team members.
• Proficiency in using technology for work order management.
• Knowledge of landscaping tasks and techniques, including pest management.
• Experience in commercial exterior maintenance, including irrigation and pressure washing.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree in horticulture or related area.
• Certified nursery and/or landscape professional.
• Intermediate proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Experience as a landscaping/gardening crew leader or supervisor.
• Proficient in Spanish.
• State/local licensing where required.
