About the position

The Lead Technician - Security at Paladin Technologies is responsible for collaborating with the project team to manage service requests, including installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems. This role requires strong communication skills and a disciplined approach to ensure excellent customer service and effective coordination with the Client Services Team. The technician will perform various service tasks, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while providing high-quality service to clients.

Responsibilities

• Review service ticket requirements and plan how to perform it
• Coordinate equipment & company vehicle resources as required to effectively manage service tickets
• Review, modify and red line job documentation for assigned tickets when applicable
• Perform service work in a professional manner and in accordance with company established best practices
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
• Maintain a clean and orderly jobsite
• Adhere to all applicable safety rules and regulations
• Review materials options and verify count accuracy
• Facilitate the delivery of staged materials to the jobsite
• Communicate & coordinate with the Client Services Team regarding schedule, open items, & job status
• Communicate with the Client Services Team on the needed job components and materials
• Commissioning of trade specific systems including device & cable testing, system functionality testing, system settings/configurations, firmware updates, user acceptance testing, and system documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 6-10 years of work experience as a service technician as a security integrator with manufacturer certifications
• Industry experience working with access control, intrusion and CCTV
• Valid US drivers license with acceptable record
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening

• Work experience in the financial market of banks
• Engineering or estimating skills
