About the position
The Lead Technician at First Atlantic Restoration is a key role responsible for overseeing and performing hands-on mitigation of water, fire, mold, and trauma scenes. This position requires a motivated and reliable individual who can manage a team while ensuring efficient restoration processes and maintaining high standards of communication and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a team of 4-6 mitigation technicians
- Remove damaged building materials to facilitate the restoration process
- Participate in the on-call rotation schedule as required
- Maintain proper equipment tracking procedures
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with homeowners
Requirements
- Minimum 2-years experience in emergency services as Lead Technician or equivalent
- A valid driver's license
- Excellent verbal, written, telephonic and interpersonal communication skills
- IICRC Certification in Water Damage Restoration, and at least one of the following: Applied Microbial Restoration, Fire and Smoke Remediation, Trauma Scene Cleaning, Commercial Drying Specialist or Applied Structural Drying
- Proficient in MS Office, Xactimate, DocuSketch and MICA
- Excellent knowledge of mitigation and construction processes and equipment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple people and projects while working under deadlines
- Ability to convey a positive image of FAR in accordance with company policies and Core Values
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with all FAR team members and departments
