About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Change Management Control Operator to join our team in New York, NY. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our change management processes are efficient, effective, and aligned with ITIL concepts. The successful candidate will have a strong background in designing and operating controls with a focus on risk mitigation and evidence stewardship. You will be responsible for communicating complex concepts to various stakeholders, including end users, peers, and executive leadership, ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed about the change management processes. In this position, you will drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate. You will review strategic approaches and assess the effectiveness of support functions and business performance. This involves performing assessments through fact-finding and data analysis, requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues. You will develop appropriate solutions or recommendations based on your findings. The role also requires making decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations, necessitating a solid understanding of the business group's functional area or products. You will facilitate decision-making and issue resolution while supporting the implementation of developed solutions and plans. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to influence, guide, and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group, fostering a culture of growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with ITIL concepts specific to change management
  • Experience designing and operating controls with a focus on risk mitigation and evidence stewardship
  • Experience communicating complex concepts to end user communities, peers, and executive leadership
  • Experience with ServiceNow, specific to change management
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products
  • Facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience
  • 4+ years of ITIL experience
  • 3+ years of ServiceNow experience
