About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Enterprise Application & Cloud Transformation team, focusing on developing a next-gen Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) solution. This role involves leading complex cloud initiatives, automating cloud infrastructure provisioning, and establishing engineering standards and best practices. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to enhance customer and agent experiences through innovative cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex technology Cloud initiatives with broad company impact.
• Automate the provisioning of Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop standards and companywide best practices for engineering and large-scale technology solutions.
• Design, optimize, and document the engineering aspects of the Cloud platform.
• Influence and lead technology teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives.
• Review and analyze complex technology solutions in Cloud for strategic business objectives.
• Collaborate with technical experts and external groups to resolve complex technical issues.
• Build and enable cloud infrastructure, automating orchestration of Azure/GCP platforms.
• Work with Product Teams and Vendors to develop and deploy Cloud services.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent.
• 5+ years of Contact Center industry experience with design, development, testing, and integration.
• Proven knowledge in contact center subdomains such as IVR/IVA, NLU/NLP, Routing, and Analytics.
• 5+ years of experience with Node JS, JAVA, Spring Boot, Kafka, and NoSQL Databases.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud native Microservices and deployment on PCF/VMWare Tanzu or K8s.
• 3+ years working with GCP or alternate public/hybrid cloud.
• 2+ years of experience with GenAI, LLMs, and conversational bots.
• 2+ years working with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of experience with real-time low latency front-end Web applications.
• 3+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks for Java/Python and UI Microservices.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps tools and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and GitHub.
• Scripting and infrastructure automation experience with Python/Go, Shell, etc.
• Professional cloud certification on Azure/GCP or other cloud providers.
