About the position
As a Lead Teller at PNC's Retail Branch, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer experiences by coaching and supervising Tellers. Your responsibilities will include greeting customers, educating them on new technologies, and identifying banking opportunities to refer to appropriate staff. This position emphasizes customer service excellence and aims to improve customer financial wellbeing while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor tellers to deliver exceptional customer service and improve customer financial wellbeing.
- Supervise customer transactions and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Engage with customers in the lobby to identify banking opportunities and make appropriate referrals.
- Educate customers on available technology and financial transaction options.
- Assist the Branch Manager in performance management and new hire selection processes.
- Ensure efficient and accurate completion of teller and branch daily operations.
Requirements
- 1+ years of related experience in banking or customer service roles.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required if experience is sufficient.
