About the position
As a full-time Lead Teller at PNC's Retail Branch, you will be responsible for coaching and supervising Tellers to enhance customer service skills and facilitate referral opportunities for PNC products. This role involves greeting customers, educating them on new technology, supervising transactions, and assisting with outbound calling initiatives, all aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and loyalty.
Responsibilities
- Coaches, mentors, and leads tellers to deliver a unique customer experience.
- Processes a variety of customer interactions and educates customers on available financial alternatives.
- Identifies banking opportunities during customer interactions and makes appropriate referrals.
- Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products.
- Assists the Branch Manager in performance management and new hire selection processes.
- Ensures adherence to policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
Requirements
- 1+ years of related experience in banking or customer service.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
