The Multi-Domain Solutions Division at Leidos is seeking a Lead Integration and Test Engineer to join our team in Reston, VA or Alexandria, VA, with a preference for candidates who can work from Dayton, Ohio. This role is pivotal in leading a team responsible for the development of enterprise-level test requirements, planning, and the integration of system hardware, software, and networks. The Lead Test Engineer will oversee verification, validation, and fielding support for network systems, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of precision, accuracy, and reliability. This position involves defining and specifying the implementation of standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting and testing products, as well as leading vendor engagements to evaluate systems and align test requirements. In this role, you will work closely with customers to build and implement effective test strategies, serving as the primary tester interface with the Chief Engineer. You will facilitate integration into a larger system-of-systems model by interfacing with vendors and identifying test methodologies for efficient verification and validation of network systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting design reviews, tracking risks associated with integration and validation, and facilitating working groups to support program objectives. You will also be responsible for documenting lessons learned and maintaining a robust test discipline for the program, while fostering a culture grounded in Leidos values and ethical behavior. As a Lead Test Engineer, you will mentor and lead a team of test engineers, ensuring that testing processes produce expected results. You will collaborate with software and hardware subject matter experts and support the development and maintenance of system integration and test plans. This role requires a strong ability to diagnose problems during application integration and address fixes or enhancements according to program processes. Your leadership will be crucial in building a cohesive team that meets the demands of complex Department of Defense programs.
