About the position

As a Lead Test Engineer, you will be responsible for performing both manual and automated integration testing to ensure the quality of Spectrum.net and the My Spectrum App. This role involves leading Quality Assurance (QA) resources across web and mobile platforms, including iOS, Android, and iPads. You will ensure that all testing requirements for products are met and will conduct manual automation testing on various platforms. Your responsibilities will include communicating risks to stakeholders and developing mitigation plans, as well as coordinating with backend teams to address blockers and dependencies. In this position, you will plan, execute, communicate, track, and report on testing activities. You will also participate in the QA interview process, refining and analyzing applications to be tested. Reviewing test cases and tickets raised for account requests, as well as conducting code reviews for App Automation, will be part of your duties. You will ensure that quality goals are met around application features and provide QA training to junior team members. Your understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies will be crucial for conducting manual integration testing, and you will utilize API testing tools such as Postman, Insomnia, and Soap UI to support your testing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience performing Manual Integration Testing with an understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • 2 years of experience utilizing API Testing tools, including Postman, Insomnia, or Soap UI.
