About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Liquidity Management Governance team as a Lead Treasury Analyst. This role focuses on identifying, measuring, managing, and controlling liquidity risk while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting effective governance and control routines within the Liquidity Management group, collaborating with various stakeholders, and managing issues related to financial and risk reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute strong centralized governance and control routines and reporting to achieve consistent adherence to internal control policies.
  • Collaborate with managers and analysts to manage issues through the issue lifecycle and evaluate financial reporting matters.
  • Complete Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) requirements with Risk Assessable Unit (RAU) owners.
  • Administer liquidity risk management governance committee.
  • Manage data quality issues through the data issue lifecycle with liquidity reporting production teams.
  • Collaborate with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management, and regulatory agencies.
  • Support liquidity reporting teams in adhering to data management policies.
  • Lead targeted projects and guide teammates.
  • Make recommendations to management and experienced group members.
  • Consult with peers and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Treasury experience or equivalent work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Experience in auditing, accounting, financial reporting, or internal control functions; CPA/CIA certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of internal controls, particularly over financial reporting.
  • Experience with large financial institutions.
  • Ability to operate in a complex and matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills.
