As a Lead Visual, you will play a crucial role in supporting the management team by performing essential operational functions and ensuring that our store meets its financial goals while providing world-class service to our guests. Your responsibilities will include opening and closing the store, managing register functions, and overseeing back-office procedures. You will also ensure that the store adheres to visual, replenishment, cleanliness, safety, and back-of-house standards during your shifts as the manager on duty. In this role, you will serve as a Selling Captain, acting as a role model for sales associates in generating sales and delivering exceptional customer service. You will prioritize the customer experience and utilize Selling Essentials and training resources to educate your team on product knowledge, improve their selling skills, and achieve business goals. Your leadership will be vital in providing training and coaching to associates in areas such as selling techniques, product knowledge, clienteling, and in-home services. To succeed in this position, you will need effective communication, organization, and leadership skills. You should have a proven ability to motivate and influence others through your actions and examples. The role requires physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, and lifting for extended periods. Ideally, you will have 1-3 years of retail sales experience, with a preference for those with shift supervision experience, and 1-2 years of experience in home-related design, visual merchandising, or stockroom responsibilities, preferably in specialty retail.
