About the position

The Lead Web/React Developer will play a crucial role in the digital transformation of the organization by standardizing the development stack across multiple web and mobile applications. This position involves overseeing a web development team consisting of third-party resources, ensuring code quality through reviews, and focusing on optimal performance, maintainability, and scalability of applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a web development focused pod including 5 developers, 2 QAs, 1 product owner, and a scrum master.
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and increase code efficiency.
• Standardize the development stack across 7 web and 7 mobile applications.
• Collaborate with offshore teams to enhance development processes.

Requirements

• 5 years of React development experience.
• Strong JavaScript or TypeScript coding experience.
• Previous experience conducting code reviews.
• Experience in various testing and experimentation strategies with app development.
• Proficient in consuming REST API services.
