About the position

The Leader in Training (LIT) is a vital member of the RISE Dispensary leadership team, focused on enhancing customer experiences and supporting daily operations. This role is designed for individuals looking to develop their leadership skills and advance towards the position of Assistant General Manager. The LIT will gain hands-on experience across various dispensary functions, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing the customer journey.

Responsibilities

  • Support management in overseeing dispensary operations to ensure compliance with security, inventory, and regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring product assortment and communicating inventory action items with management.
  • Oversee the intake and verification of deliveries and inventory management, ensuring accuracy within the vault.
  • Lead team members in executing programs, initiatives, and in-store promotions effectively.
  • Demonstrate proper cash handling and oversee team member execution of payment processing and cash maintenance.
  • Motivate team members to deliver memorable customer experiences and participate in 'Leader On Duty' shifts for active supervision.
  • Facilitate a seamless omni-channel customer experience across in-store, drive-thru, curbside, and delivery.
  • Build and retain a high-performing team by participating in talent selection and onboarding of new team members.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to team members to help them exceed performance expectations.
  • Coordinate scheduling of team members' shifts, meal breaks, and rest periods.

Requirements

  • At least three years of customer service or retail experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
  • Cannabis experience preferred.
  • Inventory control experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
  • Must be 21 years or older and pass required background checks.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID.
  • Solid understanding of cannabis laws and regulations.
