About the position

The Leader of Equipment and Assets Management will oversee the complete lifecycle of the Clients' rolling stock assets, focusing on procurement, maintenance, tracking, and disposal. This role is essential for developing policies, optimizing processes, and ensuring collaboration across departments to maximize asset efficiency and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement standardized asset management policies and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor and analyze equipment-related expenditures, utilization rates, and movement to drive cost efficiency.
• Lead the development and management of capital expenditure budgets for rolling stock assets.
• Mentor and supervise a team of asset management professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
• Oversee procurement, repairs, and vendor performance to maintain high-quality standards.
• Prepare detailed reports and insights for senior leadership, highlighting asset performance and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years in equipment maintenance or asset management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong analytical abilities, excellent communication, and proven problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance, Total Process Reliability, Lean methodology, Six Sigma, and other Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies is a significant advantage.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office; experience with project management tools or software is a plus.
