The Leader Production for the 2nd Shift at Yanfeng is a pivotal role that ensures the smooth operation of manufacturing processes within the automotive industry. This position is responsible for ensuring that the necessary manpower, equipment, and components are available to meet customer demand effectively. The Leader will promote a safe work environment by implementing practices such as 5S, job rotation, and ergonomic work practices to prevent injuries and enhance productivity. In this role, the Leader will conduct root cause analysis of production and quality issues, implementing appropriate solutions to address these challenges. They will review the prior shift's pass down to prioritize actions needed to fulfill production requirements and coordinate daily staff meetings to discuss the current production status, past issues, and upcoming activities. The Leader will compile Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data for daily management review and monitor the current running status and open issues throughout the day. Training and developing Supervisors is a key responsibility, along with managing the Performance Review process and their career development. The Leader will review and complete end-of-shift reports, ensuring that they are distributed to the manager and appropriate personnel. They will ensure that YFIMS is being followed and promote adherence to established YF iOS practices throughout the plant, fostering a culture of Continuous Improvement to meet the plant's CI roadmap. Additionally, the Leader will oversee staff levels within each department by shift, ensuring that authorized levels are not exceeded. They will provide the Plant Manager and Operations Manager with monthly production information for the Monthly Operations Review (MOR) and review all End of Shift Production Reports for accuracy, taking corrective actions to eliminate any reported issues. The Leader will also coordinate Scrap review meetings with Supervisors and support functions, participate in the staff selection and recruitment process, perform daily operator efficiency reviews, and participate in LPA audits while auditing and enforcing 5S standards.
