About the position

The Leadership Development Associate - Patient Access role is designed for individuals looking to enhance their management and technical skills within the healthcare sector. This full-time position involves a 12-24 month commitment to the Leadership Development Program, where associates will receive both classroom and field training. The role focuses on the patient access area of the hospital, which serves as a central point of contact for patients and their families, ensuring a smooth registration process and addressing inquiries effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and greet patients and visitors in the hospital.
  • Answer patient inquiries and assist with registration documents.
  • Work alongside hospital executives, directors, and managers to understand operational functions.
  • Participate in classroom and field training to enhance management and technical skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) required, preferably in Accounting, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or Hospitality.
  • Overall GPA must be a minimum of 3.0 for BS or BA and MBA (if applicable).
  • 12-24 month commitment to the Leadership Development Program.
  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare management, or finance is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA degree helpful but not required.
