About the position

The Leadership Development Program Manager at WM is responsible for curating and creating learning solutions that enhance leadership capabilities within the organization. This role focuses on developing a coaching culture and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) programs targeted at leadership groups. The ideal candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of leadership development initiatives and contribute to a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and manage the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, administration, and promotion of WM's leadership development programs.
  • Research/curate content and implement engaging human-centered leadership development programs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure innovative learning solutions are implemented.
  • Benchmark, evaluate, and measure leadership development program success with data and track performance metrics.
  • Plan, organize, schedule, and prioritize workload while managing multiple interruptions.
  • Manage operational aspects of leadership development programs, including scheduling courses and budget tracking.
  • Consult with customers, vendors, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to ensure programs meet employee needs.
  • Serve as a resource and thought leader on leadership development programs and facilitate training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a related field.
  • Advanced experience designing, delivering, managing, and promoting large scale leadership development programs.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with executive presence.
  • Experience working effectively with all levels of management.
  • Advanced leadership, organizational, problem solving, decision making, and analytical skills.
  • Effective organization, project-management, time-management, and self-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with little to no supervision.
  • Experience successfully developing/managing a budget.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience administering learning management systems and learning experience platforms.
  • Significant knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
