This program is focused on internal analytics of operational and financial performance, where candidates will combine data from multiple sources to create comprehensive reporting and Tableau dashboards. These tools will help identify key trends and drive strategic decisions within the organization. The role involves KPI reporting for both internal and external stakeholders, assisting with rate quotation analysis, and ongoing analysis of fixed rate profitability. Candidates will analyze existing business operations and collaborate with Local Management (LMs) to formulate strategic transportation and logistics recommendations that enhance USCS's customer relationships. The position requires working closely with USCS Business Development and local management to qualify needs for optimization studies on a case-by-case basis. This includes optimizing data through the USCS optimizer, preparing data, inputting files, and analyzing outputs to prepare proposals for customers. Additionally, the role involves recommending qualified carriers to regional Transportation Managers (TMs), ensuring that all carriers doing business with USCS are under contract, and monitoring active carriers to ensure compliance with USCS Logistics qualifications. The candidate will assist with the execution of Carrier Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and analyze responses, while constantly reviewing the USCS network for opportunities to collaborate with carriers supporting USCS's Customer Service Center (CSC) programs across multiple regions. The position also includes producing monthly Carrier Scorecard Reports, scheduling business review meetings with carriers and USCS management, and providing regular feedback on underperforming carriers. Candidates will coordinate daily shipments, ensuring load planning, carrier selection, and dispatching of loads while maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction. The role requires interaction with customers regarding their orders and delivery appointments, as well as maintaining positive relations with carriers. The candidate will support the Transportation Manager in the month-end financial closing process and other projects as assigned, while maintaining a professional approach in all communications. This position is based in Camden, NJ, and may require travel depending on the rotation of managers.
