About the position

As a Leadership Technical Program Manager I for Chrome at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects that span the globe. Your role involves managing project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. You will utilize your technical expertise to oversee various engineering-specific programs and teams, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and effectively while maintaining a focus on the big picture.

Responsibilities

• Implement communications standards across a portfolio of programs including executive and key partner communications.
• Establish a reliable and visible cadence for program reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and Resource Stewardship.
• Lead a governance structure that drives effective executive decision-making and mitigates dependencies.
• Identify change management opportunities that increase program velocity and affect multiple teams.
• Define/manage a program portfolio solving problems that target high business impact for the organization and product area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of technical program management work experience.
• 5 years of experience in leadership role(s) with/without direct reports.
• 4 years of experience managing projects.

Nice-to-haves

• 8 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
• 5 years of supervisory experience.
