About the position

The Install Technician at LeafFilter is responsible for executing gutter protection project installations as directed by the Field Installation Lead and Installation management team. This role involves various tasks including inventory collection, material transportation, onsite measurements, and overall installation setup and cleanup. The technician will also engage in problem-solving during installations and provide excellent customer service at job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned LeafFilter gutter protection project installations as directed by the Field Installation Lead and/or Installation management team.
  • Work on single-person or multiple-person installations as assigned.
  • Solve onsite installation challenges through product measuring, adjustments, and customizations using basic hand tools and battery-operated tools.
  • Travel in assigned local territory using a personal vehicle to complete installations at customer locations.
  • Ensure daily job installations to improve location attainment and effectiveness.
  • Provide quality installation services by following established training processes.
  • Maintain company provided ladders and standoffs.
  • Supply all necessary tools and equipment for installations that meet established guidelines.
  • Follow established job site safety rules, PPE policies, OSHA guidelines, and company safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of successful experience in home construction, remodeling, and/or gutter installation.
  • Demonstrate superior quality and attention to detail in the installation process.
  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift attention to meet demands without dropping tasks.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment with a proactive mentality.
  • Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on finding efficient pathways to task completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to logically connect ideas, evaluate arguments, and solve complex problems.
  • Provide timely and empathetic service through all communication channels.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation to/from job sites.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience in gutter and/or gutter protection system installation, repair, or inspection.
