About the position

Leaf Home Stairlift is seeking freelance installers to join their team, focusing on the installation of stairlifts in residential settings. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity for career advancement within the company. Installers will utilize their mechanical and carpentry skills to provide essential services that help seniors maintain their independence in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Install stairlifts both inside and outside of homes.
• Utilize mechanical and carpentry skills to ensure proper installation.
• Travel to job sites, primarily within 100 miles of the office.
• Maintain all necessary tools for installation tasks.

Requirements

• Prefer 1 year of carpentry/construction experience including light electrical skills.
• Possess a box truck, cargo van, full-size pickup, or full-size SUV.
• Current or ability to obtain general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance or exemption.
• Must have all necessary tools for the job including box wrenches, Allen wrenches, 12” miter saw, nut driver set, and drill driver extension.
