About the position

The Lean Operations Specialist at Detego Health is responsible for driving process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency through the application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, analyze existing processes, and implement sustainable solutions that yield measurable results. The specialist will work on short-term projects aimed at optimizing business performance within the healthcare and insurance sectors.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify projects aligned with organizational goals that can benefit from Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Analyze existing processes, workflows, and systems using Lean Six Sigma tools such as value stream mapping and root cause analysis.
• Gather and analyze data to quantify process performance and identify trends.
• Develop innovative solutions to address process inefficiencies and streamline workflows.
• Facilitate change management initiatives to ensure successful implementation of process improvements.
• Establish monitoring mechanisms to track the effectiveness of process improvements over time.
• Share best practices and provide coaching to empower employees in Lean Six Sigma principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Six Sigma Certification or advanced degree in Lean Six Sigma preferred.
• Proficient in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the Health Care or Insurance Industry.
• Advanced certification in Lean Six Sigma.
