About the position

We are looking for a self-motivated engineer to help identify waste and optimize manufacturing processes and materials management. The ideal candidate must have expertise related to 5S's, 10 steps Kaizen, and DMAIC methodology. This role promotes a Lean Manufacturing culture within the organization and ensures adherence to Quality Management System procedures and standardization.
Responsibilities
- Weekly 5S's audits.
- Coordinate Kaizen Workshops.
- Find improvement opportunities impacting Quality, Cost and Delivery.
- Improvement ideas Implementation tracking.
- Active participation on Six Sigma projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, mechanical, electrical or similar).
- Strong understanding of Kaizen Principles such as Waste elimination, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban and TPM.
- Good understanding in DMAIC Six Sigma Methodology.
Nice-to-haves
- 1 year of experience in Lean Manufacturing or similar positions.
- 2 years of experience needed with Automotive Parts assembly such as IP, Consoles or doors.
- Basic knowledge on processes related to Injection Molding, Plastic Welding, Torque control and assembly.
- Green Belt or Black Belt Certification preferred (Not mandatory).
