The Learning Analyst/Instructional Designer at Yahoo will play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness of training programs for the Customer Care team. This position is designed for a professional who is adept at both evaluating training initiatives and designing impactful learning experiences. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to establish measurement and evaluation plans, collect and analyze data, and assess the impact of training initiatives. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent instructional design skills, and a commitment to improving job performance through effective training solutions. In this dual role, the Learning Analyst will partner with Instructional Designers and stakeholders to create measurement and evaluation plans that are mutually beneficial. Utilizing established evaluation models such as the Kirkpatrick Model and ROI Methodology, the analyst will measure learner engagement, satisfaction, performance, and the overall effectiveness of training programs. The position also involves synthesizing data from multiple sources and developing comprehensive reports, visualizations, and dashboards to present findings and insights to stakeholders. As the measurement expert for the Learning & Development Team, the analyst will share best practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on evaluation results and identified trends. The instructional design aspect of the role involves using authoring tools to create interactive and multimedia-rich learning content. The Learning Analyst will work closely with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the content, applying adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to craft impactful learning experiences.
