About the position

The Learning Analytics Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive analytics plan to support customer programs in a fully remote environment. This role involves capturing, normalizing, analyzing, and displaying various types of data, including standardized scores and training evaluations, to aid in strategic planning and decision-making for a Federal client.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to identify, capture, normalize, analyze and display analytics data for customer programs.
• Architecturally assess standards and implementation technology including xAPI, Caliper, LRS, and Google Big Query.
• Create and maintain design and development guidelines, including procedures and user interface templates.
• Research and analyze information to determine content, target audience, and learning objectives.
• Collaborate with faculty to identify meaningful data from a research perspective and visual display methodologies.
• Work with stakeholders to identify how analytics data can be used for strategic planning.
• Build analogous data to support customer strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, data analytics, or related field.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• 3+ years of experience performing learning analytics.
• Experience developing robust ad-hoc reports that are easy to understand.
• Experience with xAPI, Caliper, LRS, Google Big Query.
