The Learning and Development Specialist will play a crucial role in facilitating both virtual and in-person training sessions aimed at equipping employees with the necessary skills to excel in their roles. The specialist will be responsible for delivering training that reflects adult learning principles, ensuring that the content is relevant and engaging for participants. In addition to delivering training, the specialist will also be tasked with improving training content based on current business trends and evaluations, which will require a keen understanding of the industry and the ability to adapt materials accordingly. The role involves developing and maintaining training materials that are not only informative but also accessible to employees. Coordination of training schedules is another essential function of this position, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Learning and Development Specialist will also have supervisory responsibilities, guiding and mentoring less experienced staff and potentially leading a team of matrixed resources. To be successful in this position, candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or have an equivalent of four additional years of relevant experience.
