About the position

The Learning and Development Specialist - Instructor at Leica Biosystems is responsible for onboarding new commercial team members, sustaining knowledge, mentoring, and conducting training for new product introductions. This role is part of the Global Sales Enablement and Operations Team and focuses on delivering quality training experiences, particularly in the Immunohistochemistry business vertical. The position is fully remote and involves significant collaboration with sales leadership to assess training needs and implement learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live, instructor-led trainings or virtual learning for commercial teams.
• Deliver quality content and experiences focused on the Immunohistochemistry business vertical.
• Liaise with sales and sales leadership to assess training needs and develop implementation plans.
• Support special projects such as product launches and sales meetings.
• Act as a field coach and auditor for the commercial sales team.

Requirements

• BS in Biology or related sciences, and/or certifications in Anatomical Pathology.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Anatomical Pathology labs or commercial markets.
• At least 3 years of experience as a mentor, coach, or manager in the Anatomical Pathology space.
• 3 years of practical experience using anatomical pathology equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Multi-language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, French) written and spoken.
• Experience in course facilitation practices for adult learning.
• Familiarity with adult learning models and concepts.
• Experience in video/e-learning content design.
