About the position

The Learning and Development Specialist - Instructor at Leica Biosystems is responsible for conducting training for new commercial team members, focusing on onboarding, knowledge sustainment, field auditing, mentoring, and new product introduction. This role is part of the Global Sales Enablement and Operations Team and is fully remote, emphasizing the importance of delivering quality training experiences, particularly in the Immunohistochemistry business vertical.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live, instructor-led trainings and virtual learning for commercial teams.
• Deliver quality content and experiences within the specified vertical, primarily Immunohistochemistry.
• Liaise with sales leadership to assess training needs and develop implementation plans.
• Support special projects such as product launches and sales meetings.
• Act as a field coach and auditor for the commercial sales team.

Requirements

• BS in Biology or related sciences, and/or certifications within the Anatomical Pathology space.
• Minimum of 7 years of combined experience in Anatomical Pathology labs and/or commercial markets.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a mentor/coach/manager in the Anatomical Pathology space.
• At least 3 years of practical experience utilizing anatomical pathology equipment.

Nice-to-haves

• Multi-language skills (Spanish, Portuguese, French) written and spoken.
• Experience in course facilitation practices to maximize adult learning.
• Familiarity with adult learning models/concepts.
• Experience with video/e-learning content design.
