About the position

As a Lead Learning and Development Specialist at EBS Recruiters LLC, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the performance and development strategies within our organization. This position is designed for an experienced performance, development, and talent consultant who is adept at designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions and strategies that foster a high-performance culture. You will collaborate closely with our Workforce Services team and the global IT organization to identify and understand the talent needs of our workforce, ensuring that we are equipped to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving business environment. In this role, you will lead the identification, analysis, and trending of organizational learning needs. Your findings will inform the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at closing skill gaps and building capabilities that align with our business priorities. You will act as a learning advisor to department leaders, leveraging your expert consulting skills and subject-matter expertise to align development efforts with both short- and long-term strategies. This position requires end-to-end solution and program ownership, often involving large and complex initiatives. You will be responsible for developing learning and development project plans, team processes, and work standards, and may coordinate or lead project activities or teams. Utilizing a variety of methodologies and blended learning approaches, you will emphasize real-world application relevant to adult learners in our technology-focused environment. Additionally, you will manage vendor partnerships, participate in contract negotiations, and develop creative communication and marketing plans for learning programs and solutions. As a leader in this space, you will embody a learning mindset, staying current on talent development trends and best practices, and leading the implementation of necessary changes and continuous evolution. Coaching others to reach their highest potential will also be a key aspect of your role, ensuring that our workforce is not only skilled but also engaged and motivated to excel.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, analysis, and trending of organizational learning needs.
  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate programs that close skill gaps or build capabilities in alignment with business priorities.
  • Collaborate across the organization to develop business acumen and act as a learning advisor to department leaders.
  • Take responsibility for end-to-end solution and program ownership, often in large and complex efforts.
  • Lead the development of learning and development project plans or programs, team processes, and work standards.
  • Leverage a variety of methodologies and blended learning approaches to advance the workforce.
  • Manage and evaluate vendor partners, including participation in contract negotiation and statement of work development.
  • Develop and implement creative communication and marketing plans for learning programs and solutions.
  • Stay current on talent development trends and best practices, leading the implementation of appropriate changes.
  • Coach others to develop and achieve their highest potential.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of related experience
  • Knowledge of learning theory, instructional design, adult learning principles, and modern talent development practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in preparing training and development programs and presenting effectively to various audiences
  • Strong influencing and consulting skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Customer service and results-oriented with strong project and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience identifying, implementing, and managing third-party vendor partners
  • Experience facilitating meetings, training needs assessments, and learning experiences
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and complexity and adapt to a changing business environment
  • Proven coaching and mentoring abilities
  • Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office applications

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, Instructional Design, Training and Development, or a related field
  • Experience working for a global company and with a partially remote workforce
