About the position

The Learning and Development Specialist, Operations at Vital Farms is responsible for enhancing the performance and professional growth of the Production Operations and Farm Support teams. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing training programs that improve job satisfaction and support career development, while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive training programs for Production Operations and Farm teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and performance gaps.
• Facilitate engaging training sessions using various delivery methods.
• Implement and manage onboarding programs for new Operations crew.
• Oversee the execution of learning programs, including scheduling and logistics.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
• Support the development of strategies and programs that enhance crew performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulatory standards in training programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in learning and development, preferably in manufacturing or agricultural settings.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering effective learning solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills.
• Familiarity with training best practices and performance management.
• Experience working with employees in a production or manufacturing setting.
