About the position

The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for managing and facilitating various training programs for internal and external stakeholders at Vertiv. This role involves communication, registration, surveying, and reporting on Technical Sales and Services training programs, ensuring effective learning experiences for participants. The specialist will collaborate with global training teams and contribute to the overall success of the Americas Technical Services and Sales Training team.

Responsibilities

  • Create invites, reminders, confirmations, course instances and other training registration documents for training courses
  • Use the Docebo Learning Management System to enroll learners into scheduled courses
  • Partner with program owner to design and execute communication and change management plans in support of new and continued learning programs
  • Report the attendance and no-shows for training classes
  • Summarize training attendance by course, program, and time frame
  • Recruit presenters, create a schedule, work with Marketing to send invites and report attendance and compliance with IACET standards for CEU programs
  • Help troubleshoot learner enrollment issues to ensure accurate registration and attendance at training events
  • Respond to needs of training program managers through LMS admin tasks, making authorized purchases for various supplies, and helping live events at the Academy run smoothly
  • Measure training impact against agreed to success metrics (Net Promoter Score, Kirkpatrick)
  • Create pre and post class learner surveys using Microsoft forms and/or Survey Monkey
  • Participate and provide requested data in Business function ISO audits
  • Help cover Academy front reception desk and provide in person support for live events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Adult Learning, Marketing, Business or Instructional Design preferred
  • 5+ years progressive professional experience coordinating training for sellers or field technicians
  • 5+ years' proven project management skills including planning work, prioritizing, and managing details
  • Experience using Docebo Learning Management System
  • Experience using Articulate Rise and Powerpoint to deliver training
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication abilities
  • Experienced at reporting training consumption and other metrics using LMS Data, Power BI, Smartsheet and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, paired with sound business judgment
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented, global work environment
  • Sound understanding of adult learning theory and models (ADDIE)
