About the position

The Learning & Development Specialist at GQR will play a crucial role in the onboarding and training of new hires within the Healthcare Division. This position is based in Omaha, NE, and requires the specialist to work in-office from Monday through Friday. The primary responsibility will be to plan and schedule new hire training sessions prior to their start dates, ensuring that all necessary training is delivered effectively and efficiently. The specialist will deliver early onboarding training programs to new hires at all levels, which includes a comprehensive induction training on the first day, systems training, process training, and people and culture training. The training will be presented using a variety of techniques to cater to different learning styles, including classroom-based sessions, eLearning modules, lectures, simulations, group activities, role-plays, team discussions, and videos. In addition to training delivery, the Learning & Development Specialist will be responsible for performance management tracking for new hires, setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and productivity metrics, and providing developmental feedback to ensure continuous improvement and integration into the company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule new hire training prior to their start dates.
  • Deliver early onboarding training programs to new hires at all levels.
  • Conduct induction training on the first day of employment.
  • Provide systems training, process training, and people and culture training.
  • Utilize a variety of training techniques such as classroom-based sessions, eLearning, lectures, simulations, group activities, role-plays, team discussions, and videos.
  • Track performance management for new hires and provide feedback.
  • Set and track KPIs and productivity metrics for new hires.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of recruitment, business development, or account management experience within healthcare staffing.
  • 1+ year of Learning & Development or training experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation and mediation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
