About the position

The Learning and Development Specialist at New York University is responsible for managing key processes related to the Learning Management System, Academies, Certificate Programs, and various training materials. This role involves planning logistics for learning events, providing project support, and preparing accessible training materials. The specialist will also develop presentations and reports for leadership, research best practices in learning and organizational development, and draft content updates and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key processes and procedures for the Learning Management System, Academies, and Certificate Programs.
  • Plan logistics and processes for learning events.
  • Provide project support for the Learning and Organizational Development team.
  • Prepare digitally accessible training and organizational development materials.
  • Develop quarterly presentations and reports for leadership.
  • Research best practices for learning and organizational development programs.
  • Draft content updates, layouts, communications, newsletters, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Learning and Development and/or Project Management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Learning and Development and/or Project Management with related educational background.
  • Proficiency with instructional design and development of associated materials.
  • Knowledge of survey design, implementation, management, and analysis.
