About the position

The Learning & Development Specialist II at Clayton Homes is responsible for designing, coordinating, producing, and delivering professional and leadership development opportunities across the organization. This role involves serving as the administrator for multiple training programs, facilitating Ignite brand learning experiences, and ensuring the development of competencies that support organizational change and inspire continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Ignite Programming including Ignite Today and Ignite Gateway training sessions.
  • Manage and administer the Ignite Gateway program, training approximately 100 team members annually.
  • Plan and develop project plans for training programs and monitor their progress.
  • Conduct regular meetings and solve issues that arise during program execution.
  • Evaluate program performance and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Serve as a liaison for the Ignite GROW program, supporting management training for 100-150 participants annually.
  • Utilize project planning and communication platforms for effective project execution.
  • Develop and manage project plans for new Ignite programs and strategic talent initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization to support Ignite programs.
  • Measure and report the impact of learning experiences through metrics and performance results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Business, Human Resources, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience required, with 2-4 years preferred.
  • Certifications from Association of Talent Development (ATD) or similar organizations are preferred.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Workday.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • High-quality facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience with survey instruments such as Qualtrics and/or Workday preferred.
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and learning styles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certifications in assessments such as MBTI, DiSC, EQ-360, etc.
  • Experience building informal and formal learning solutions.
