About the position

The Learning and Development Specialist focuses on designing and delivering training programs that drive employee development and enhance organizational effectiveness. The position involves collaborating with subject matter experts, facilitating impactful training sessions, and managing key initiatives like onboarding and compliance to ensure alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize instructional design methodologies to create effective training programs, including lesson plans, materials, and e-learning content.
  • Lead meetings with stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date, and ensure timely follow-up on action items and updates.
  • Own and manage programs like onboarding and compliance, from planning to execution.
  • Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training sessions for employees across all levels.
  • Assess program impact through feedback, assessments, and evaluations, making improvements as needed.
  • Manage communication plans to ensure clear, timely messaging for training programs.
  • Manage Workday Learning to ensure courses are up-to-date and functioning properly.
  • Contribute to discussions around strategic programming and long-term initiatives.
  • Ensure we hit deadlines for key items on the L&D roadmap.
  • Support other L&D and Talent Development initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • BA or BS degree required with experience in HR/L&D
  • 2+ years in relevant role, Articulate Rise, Workday, AI, LinkedIn Learning
  • Adult Learning Certification, Project Management Certification, or Predictive Index Certification
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment.
  • Proficiency with G-suite, Articulate Rise, LinkedIn Learning, CultureAmp, and AI.
  • Certified in project management, certified in adult learning, and certified in Predictive Index.
