About the position

The Learning and Development Specialist internship is designed to attract top talent and enhance the skills of current employees to better serve customers and meet business objectives. This role involves designing and executing talent management programs, delivering learning initiatives, and supporting global recruiting strategies, including the summer internship program.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute talent development programs for entry-level employees, managers, and high-potential individuals.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to align training content with industry best practices and organizational goals.
  • Create and update training materials to support employee development.
  • Identify training needs with managers and develop customized training programs.
  • Ensure training materials are engaging and relevant to company goals.
  • Coordinate logistics and promote training programs to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maximize usage of eLearning software and stay updated with industry trends.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
  • Develop and deliver training programs using various methodologies, both in-person and digitally.
  • Partner with Recruitment and HR to improve talent acquisition processes and manage recruiting reports.
  • Facilitate the planning and execution of the summer internship program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of progressive Human Resources experience within a global organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of talent management principles and employee development strategies.
  • Analytical mindset to assess talent needs and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training programs.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems and digital platforms for training.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in succession planning
