About the position

The Learning & Development Specialist - Content Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging learning content tailored for Associates. This role emphasizes a creative and strategic approach to align training materials with organizational goals, particularly focusing on musical instruments as part of the training content. The position aims to enhance workforce skills and knowledge while celebrating the company's culture centered around music.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify gaps in employee skills and knowledge and develop content based on defined training needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and learning priorities.
  • Create comprehensive and targeted learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and multimedia content.
  • Utilize instructional design principles to ensure content is engaging, relevant, and meets the needs of diverse learners.
  • Incorporate adult learning theories and interactive elements to enhance the learning experience.
  • Develop and maintain training curricula that align with organizational goals and individual career paths.
  • Ensure consistency and coherence across various learning modules and programs.
  • Support the facilitation of training sessions alongside Training Managers, demonstrating a deep understanding of the content and its practical application.
  • Leverage learning technologies and tools to enhance the delivery of training content.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in e-learning and instructional design technology.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to gather information and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of learning content with organizational objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality learning content.
  • Develop and execute project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of learning content to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and relevance.
  • Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience using Articulate 360 or Articulate Rise Software
  • 2+ years of experience using LMS (Learning Management System) Software
  • 2+ years of experience with Video Edition and Video Production
  • Experience performing presentations to various different types of stakeholders
  • 2+ years of experience creating training materials, targeted learning materials and Job Aids using Multi-Media Content
  • 2+ years of experience building instructional design content
  • 2+ years of experience creating E-Learning Modules

Nice-to-haves

  • Instructional Design or Human Resources Degree
