About the position

The Learning and Development Specialist at Jawonio Inc. is responsible for assisting in the design, delivery, and implementation of training programs across the agency. This role focuses on regulatory trainings, employee orientation, and compliance training, ensuring that all staff are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills. The specialist will collaborate with subject matter experts to develop course content and manage online learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, delivery, and implementation of agency-wide training programs.
  • Develop and design courses and curriculum in collaboration with the Director of Workforce Development.
  • Manage online learning initiatives with the Workforce Development Coordinator.
  • Conduct mandated regulatory trainings, Annual Core, New Employee Orientation (NEO), Corporate Compliance, HIPAA, and Harassment Prevention trainings.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, industrial relations, or organizational development.
  • Experience in developing, presenting, and managing training programs is desirable.
