About the position

The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs within the company. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders to prepare relevant training materials and support effective implementation. The specialist will coordinate logistics, conduct train-the-trainer sessions, and evaluate program effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs for the company.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare relevant training materials.
  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling and venue bookings.
  • Support the implementation of training programs and address any arising issues.
  • Create engaging training materials such as presentations and manuals.
  • Maintain updated knowledge articles using SharePoint.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders and facilitate meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Education, or Communication preferred.
  • At least 12 months of experience in a medium-large corporate setting.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably in the hospitality or cruise industry.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 for Business with SharePoint required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous internships in a large company will be advantageous.
