About the position

Exiger is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to fill the position of Learning and Development Specialist. The candidate will report to the Global Head of Learning and Development (L&D) and will work closely with fellow L&D team members. The candidate will be responsible for managing Exiger's Supply Chain Explorer platform, co-managing Exiger's Learning Management System (LMS), and assisting in the development and management of Exiger's Learning and Development Program. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering learning management systems, project management experience, and a strong learning agility with new technology. The candidate will also be working to support the training needs of client-facing employees, especially in regards to ensuring staff awareness and thorough comprehension of our product suite and maintaining product adoption by our clients. Additionally, this role will be responsible for updating and maintaining existing digital training assets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in the development, delivery and management of training for Exiger's Supply Chain Explorer platform.
  • Assist in managing a portfolio of projects focused on building and maintaining training programs aligned with business priorities.
  • Co-Manage day-to-day administration of Exiger's Learning Management System (LMS), including drafting and management of LMS procedures and training materials, managing enrollments in online training and Instructor Led Training, managing user accounts, groups, and permissions, and troubleshooting LMS technical issues.
  • Help configure and customize Exiger's LMS to meet the needs of our learners and training and development team members.
  • Manage updating of Exiger's digital suite of training assets to ensure they are accurate, relevant and up-to-date.
  • Support the orientation and integration of processes and programs for new employees, helping to drive improvement of on-boarding Exiger's new hires.
  • Draft simple and complex training reports for senior management using Exiger's data analytics platform on a periodic basis.
  • Assist in documenting existing training and development processes and workflows.
  • Assist in developing training materials, reference guides and job aids.
  • Assist in managing existing internal communications programs and training meetings including a weekly training newsletter, weekly training committee meetings and updates to C-suite executives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, computer science, or related field a big plus.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in administering learning management systems and related technologies.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with learning management systems, e-learning platforms, and related technologies such as SCORM.
  • Experience in end-to-end training and development project management; initiation, planning and development, implementation, monitoring, and project closure.
