About the position

The Learning and Development Specialist is responsible for managing key processes and procedures related to the Learning Management System, Academies, Certificate Programs, and various learning resources. This role involves planning logistics for learning events, providing project support, and preparing accessible training materials. The specialist will also develop presentations and reports for leadership, research best practices in learning and organizational development, and draft content updates and communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage key processes and procedures for the Learning Management System and related programs.
• Plan logistics and processes for learning events.
• Provide project support for the Learning and Organizational Development team.
• Prepare digitally accessible training materials, including presentations and assessments.
• Develop quarterly presentations and reports for leadership.
• Research best practices for learning and organizational development programs.
• Draft content updates, layouts, and communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Learning and Development and/or Project Management.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in survey and communication tools, including Google Workplace and Microsoft Office suite.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong independent problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience in Learning and Development with a related educational background.
• Proficiency in instructional design and development of materials.
• Knowledge of survey design, implementation, management, and analysis.
