About the position

The Learning & Development Specialist II position is a key role within the Corporate Learning & Development team, responsible for designing, coordinating, producing, and delivering professional and leadership development opportunities across the organization. This role involves managing multiple training programs, facilitating learning experiences, and ensuring the effective execution of Ignite brand learning initiatives that foster competency and inspire continuous growth.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Ignite Programming including Ignite Today and Ignite Gateway training sessions.
  • Manage and administer the Ignite Gateway program, training approximately 100 team members annually.
  • Plan and develop project plans for training programs and monitor their progress.
  • Conduct regular meetings and solve issues that arise during program execution.
  • Evaluate program performance and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Serve as a liaison for the Ignite GROW program, supporting management training for retail participants.
  • Utilize project planning and communication platforms for effective project execution.
  • Develop and manage project plans for new Ignite programs and strategic talent initiatives.
  • Facilitate skill/competency assessments as needed for courses.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization to support Ignite programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Business, Human Resources, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience required, with 2-4 years preferred.
  • Certifications from Association of Talent Development (ATD) or similar organizations are preferred.
  • Certification in assessments such as MBTI, DiSC, EQ-360, etc. is required.
  • Minimum two years' Learning Management System (LMS) experience preferred, with Workday LMS experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • High quality facilitation and presentation skills are essential.
  • Experience with survey instruments such as Qualtrics and/or Workday preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic principles of instructional design and learning styles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience building informal and formal learning solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task effectively.
