About the position

The Learning and Development Specialist at Sanford Health is responsible for coordinating and delivering training programs for employees, students, and community members. Responsibilities

• Coordinate learning and development programs for employees, students, and community members.
• Customize curriculum and develop training materials to meet organizational needs.
• Deliver training using adult learning principles and various training methods.
• Maintain and update existing training and education programs.
• Perform quality checks to ensure course functionalities and objectives are met.
• Provide training in various formats, including virtual and in-person sessions.
• Create online learning modules and deliver webinars based on departmental needs.
• Collaborate with remote subject matter experts on training content design and maintenance.
• Manage training schedules for intended audiences and populations.
• Demonstrate effective communication and project management skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a field related to department training focus.
• If no degree, six years of equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a healthcare environment providing education/training preferred.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methods is preferred.
• Project management experience is ideal.
