About the position

The Diagnostics Learning and Enablement Manager is a vital member of the Learning & Development (L&D) team, responsible for addressing the learning needs of the Diagnostics & Reference Lab Business Unit across the US, including NJ, PA, or remote locations. This role requires the manager to cultivate strong relationships within the business unit, collaborating with partners to support their marketing, territory, and business strategies through effective learning program development. The focus will be on creating content and delivering training for both new hires and new product launches to the existing field force. The manager will work closely with Sales Leaders to ensure that learning programs align with business needs and objectives. In this position, the manager will coordinate and facilitate engaging workshop sessions in both live and virtual settings. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to understand key business strategies and developing materials that focus on defined learning objectives that drive business outcomes. The manager will evaluate and provide guidance on learning programs, facilitate content workshops, and deliver constructive feedback in a manner that motivates and inspires learners. Additionally, the role involves coordinating and supporting new product and sales tool rollouts, creating and maintaining curricula based on business needs, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders to share best practices and partner solutions. The manager will also measure and report on the business impact of learning programs, particularly skills training for Account Business Managers and Strategic Growth Managers within the Diagnostics portfolio, Animal Health industry, and capital equipment selling. Participation in Manager Meetings, National Sales Meetings, and regional sales events is expected to create and deliver content that enhances skills to drive business results. The manager will also take on a mentoring and coaching role to enhance leadership skills and performance within the team.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • College Degree (BS, BA, or related degree); master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of successful sales experience in animal health or human pharmaceuticals.
  • Demonstrated experience in mentoring team members and influencing stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Ability to interact with team members and stakeholders in a problem-solving, constructive manner.
  • Strategic and creative thinking with the ability to juggle multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Engaging presentation skills in virtual and live settings.
  • Ability to collaborate, adapt, and follow up; solutions-oriented.
