About the position

The Learning & Development Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the training and development initiatives at a Fortune 500 company in Akron, Ohio. This position involves the administration and execution of various training programs, ensuring that training resources are relevant and effectively delivered to employees across Company-Owned Retail Outlets. The coordinator will work closely with the Senior Learning Program Manager and serve as a liaison with external vendors, contributing to the overall success of the company's learning and development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Learning Program Manager in the administration and execution of various training programs.
  • Administer training programs/modules based on specific roles, assisting with development, coordination, and moderation.
  • Regularly update and curate current training materials to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  • Serve as the liaison for site-level training provided by outside vendors.
  • Provide helpdesk support for Company Owned Outlets associates, addressing queries related to training and development.
  • Administer training reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Prior relevant experience in administration, HR, or other fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, with knowledge of pivot tables and X & V lookup formulas.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for multiple audiences, from front-line associates to leaders.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems preferred.
