About the position

The Learning & Development Generalist at Essendant is responsible for analyzing training needs, designing and developing training programs, and implementing effective learning solutions to enhance organizational performance. This role involves collaboration with various departments to ensure that training materials are relevant and effective, while also evaluating the impact of training initiatives on employee development and organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Analyze training needs by evaluating associates' strengths and challenges through surveys and interviews.
• Partner with functional directors to develop training materials and provide support related to training.
• Design, deliver, and maintain training materials using current technology and resources.
• Conduct and manage training sessions as needed, facilitating discussions for professional development.
• Develop measures to analyze and improve training efficiency, providing insights to department leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Mid-level experience in Learning and Development or training.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of LinkedIn Learning Platform preferred.
• Experience in developing trusted relationships at all organizational levels.
