The Learning & Development Manager at Valcor Engineering is responsible for enhancing the organization's learning programs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role involves analyzing learning needs, designing and implementing training programs, and collaborating with management to ensure that employee development aligns with organizational goals. The position requires a hands-on approach and interaction with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Analyze organizational learning and development needs and modify existing programs or develop innovative new programs to meet the needs of our organization and employees.
• Provide and implement recommendations for improvement in methods and learning and development approaches.
• Collaborate with management to create and conduct surveys designed to identify specific learning and development needs within the organization.
• Create and promote a positive learning culture.
• Effectively manage the learning and development budget.
• Evaluate organizational performance to ensure that learning and development processes are meeting business needs and improving performance.
• Create a curriculum to facilitate strategic learning based on the organization's goals.
• Assess employees' skills, performance, and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
• Keep abreast of learning trends, developments and best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in learning and development
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Master's degree preferred
• Experience with learning curriculum creation
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team
• Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills
