About the position

The Learning & Development Partner at Post Consumer Brands is responsible for fostering a culture of continuous learning and development among employees at the Battle Creek, Michigan site. This role involves program management, training content development, and stakeholder engagement to ensure effective learning initiatives that align with the company's talent strategy. The L&D Partner will work closely with site leaders and the central L&D team to implement training programs and support employee growth.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the site-level learning and development lead and champion.
  • Create and sustain a culture that values learning and development.
  • Facilitate strong relationships and communications between shifts.
  • Lead and mentor others in the usage of Problem Solving tools.
  • Participate in a Learning and Development community of practice.
  • Identify training needs and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Develop and deliver onboarding training, including New Hire Orientation.
  • Implement a train-the-trainer model for localized training programs.
  • Build an annual training calendar in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Oversee the preparation and roll out of training programs.
  • Identify and prioritize learning gaps and address them strategically.
  • Serve as Standard Work Pillar Steering Team Lead for Continuous Improvement.
  • Administer the site-level learning management system (LMS).
  • Analyze training data to measure effectiveness and generate insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, or Business-related discipline or equivalent experience required.
  • 4+ years' experience in a full-time training, education, or learning and development role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Excellent facilitator/trainer using adult learning principles.
  • Proficient in Learning Management Systems; experience with remote and e-Learning preferred.
  • Content development experience preferred.
  • Experience with measuring and reporting on training effectiveness.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to lead a team.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in using PowerPoint and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
